Our Story

Founded in 2014, JD & Co, Chartered Accountants was established with the vision of bringing together a comprehensive range of financial and advisory services under one roof to meet the evolving needs of companies in Bangladesh. Recognizing the demand for specialized and integrated solutions, the firm set out to bridge the gap between strategic advice and practical execution.

From the outset, JD & Co positioned itself as a boutique advisory firm dedicated to guiding businesses through the complexities of modern finance. With a team of highly experienced professionals, the firm offers expertise across:

• Financial Advisory & Capital Solutions: Debt finance, project finance, trade finance, export credit agency (ECA) finance, equity solutions, and project funding arrangements from Bangladesh Bank, World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), and other multilateral DFIs.

• Audit & Assurance Services: Internal audit, statutory audit, management audit, compliance audit, NGO and co-operative audit, all conducted under international best practices.

• Accounting & Reporting: Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP, financial modeling, month- and year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, annual operational plan, variance analysis with the business review report, accounting process and procedure, and chart of accounts modification, along with robust internal control setup.

• Business Advisory & Consultancy: Project profile, feasibility study, sensitivity analysis, process engineering, business valuation, ERP implementation (SAF & Oracle), and operational efficiency enhancement.

• Taxation & Regulatory Support: Corporate tax return preparation, tax assessment and hearing representation, and full legal support with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies (RJSC) and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) for both local and foreign companies.
